ATTN!SWEETHEART

You may be surprised to receive this letter from me since you do not know me personally. I am Miss Kate Diop,The first Daughter of late Dr Michael Diop, a wealthy business man who was  murdered in the land dispute in Zimbabwe which i have no doubt you may be aware if you listen to either BBC or CNN.
Some documented pictures of this incident, you can view at
http://www.cnn.com/2001/WORLD/africa/08/12/violence.zimbabwe/
This business proposal will benefit both of us. Before the death of my father, he had taken me to Dakar Senegal to deposit the sum of USD7.5(SEVEN MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND USD  in the Bank Credit mutuel du Senegal as if he foresaw the looming danger in Zimbabwe. This amount was meant for the purchase of new machines, chemicals for the farms and establishment of new farm in Swaziland.
This land problem came when Zimbabwean President Mr. Robert Mugabe introduced a new land act reform, which wholly affected the rich foreign farmers . This resulted in the killing and mob action of Zimbabwean war veterans and some lunatics in the society. In fact a lot of people were killed because of this land reform act of which my parents were among the victims.

They murdered my lovely parents at about 10.45am in our white colour E Class Mercedeze Benz and born our houses. My parents left out, i miss Kate Diop.I flew the country with tears to Senegal where my late father deposited this money, he put the money inside a box and deposited it as precious stones and family valuables, because he don't want the bank finance house to know the content of the box. This money he intended for the opening of the new hectares of farm land in Shiselweni Village near Umbuluzi in Swaziland which my father negosiated to buy with the help of the Swaziland Monarch King Suboza Mswati (lll) as well as buying tractors for the newly site which my father had made all the enquries from NEW LONDON TRACTOR & EQUIPMENT . ROUTE.

It is against this background that  I am currently in Senegal and decided to transfer my father's money to a foreign country since the law of Senegal prohibits refugees from opening any bank account or to be involved in any financial transaction throughout the territorial zones of Senegal. As the only child of my parents, I am saddled with responsibility of seeking a genuine foreign partner where this money could be transferred into without the knowledge of my goverment who are bent on taking everything. All I seek for is an honest businessman or woman, whom I can entrust my future, I must also let you know that this transaction is 100% risk free. If you accept to assist me, we will embark without further delay on the next step for the transfer of this money out of Senegal based on the arrangements I have made so far.
This money I intend to use for my investment and growth in your country. I have two options for you; firstly, you can choose to have certain percentage of the money for nominating your account for this transaction. Or you can go into partnership with me for the proper profitable investment of the money in your country. Whichever options you want feel free to notify me.
If you do not prefer a partnership, I am willing to give 30% of the money while the remaining 70% will remain for my family and I. If you are really capable and willing to assist me.please note any expenditure that you must encouter will be discounted from the money after the transfer before your percentage.  please  email me with email address above. While reply please,
Finally, please treat this matter as urgent as possible. I am daring need to leave this country since I cannot invest the amount here in Senegal due to their restrictions on Asylum Seekers. But if on the contrary you cannot assist, please keep my having contacted you confidential.Thank you in anticipation of your kind understanding and immediate response.
BEST REGARDS,
Miss Kate Diop.

Blacklisted Emails | Email Seal Explained

EMAIL SCAM SAFETY TIPS

Scam tips and understanding scam email.

1. Take caution when you open email attachments, if you don't know the sender, google search or internet search the sending email address first. You can also search for the title of the attachment, also key words found in the scam email like. Such as keywords like names of individuals, phone numbers, the scammers so called place of business, anything is valuable in a scam letter to help identify it

2. Respond to only email addresses you recognize. Contacts that you have used before, although infrequently can at times be hijacked, so take caution even if you know the sender

3. Never give out personal information. If asked for anything other than your name and email address, do not reply. This is a basic rule, if the ask for anything other than what you feel comfortable sharing, don't reply

4. Call before sending information, even if the email looks legit. The number should also be searched or googled before calling. Numbers with a +44 prefix are normally scam numbers. You can also have your service provider search the number as well.

5. Never give out bank account information or any form of identification numbers, Social Security Numbers, or Credit Card numbers. Don't fall for it, never give out a bank number or credit card number, unless your doing direct business with the bank itself, there should be no reason for anyone to ask you to place your numbers in any email

6. Western Union requests are typically fraudulent. A company should be able to use Credit Card services or PayPal Services. Never send money to anyone by wire for a purchase. Even money grams and bank cards are being used as bait, don't fall for these scams!

TIPS FROM THE FBI

Here are some tips you can use to avoid becoming a victim of cyber fraud or email scams:

Do not respond to unsolicited (spam) e-mail.

Do not click on links contained within an unsolicited e-mail.

Be cautious of e-mail claiming to contain pictures in attached files, as the files may contain viruses. Only open attachments from known senders. Virus scan the attachments if possible.

Avoid filling out forms contained in e-mail messages that ask for personal information.

Always compare the link in the e-mail to the link you are actually directed to and determine if they actually match and will lead you to a legitimate site.

Log on directly to the official website for the business identified in the e-mail, instead of "linking" to it from an unsolicited e-mail. If the e-mail appears to be from your bank, credit card issuer, or other company you deal with frequently, your statements or official correspondence from the business will provide the proper contact information.

Contact the actual business that supposedly sent the e-mail to verify if the e-mail is genuine.
